Philo is architected differently from conventional software and AI platforms. By design, Philo operates locally on your device and does not require cloud hosting, centralized data storage, or background transmission of personal intelligence.

This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use Philo and how your rights are protected under GDPR and CCPA.

  1. PRIVACY-BY-DESIGN PRINCIPLE

Your intelligence belongs to you.
Philo is a local-first intelligence system. Unless you explicitly choose otherwise, your data remains on your device and under your control.

  1. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT (DEFAULT OPERATION)

Philosophi does not collect, store, sell, or share:

  • Your prompts, queries, or AI interactions
  • Your local memory, reasoning context, or knowledge graph
  • Your files, documents, notes, screenshots, or media
  • Your communications, messages, or call content
  • Your biometric, health, or behavioral data
  • Your browsing activity within the Software

There is no background upload of personal intelligence data.

  1. LOCAL DEVICE OPERATION
  • All intelligence processing occurs locally on your hardware
  • Memory persistence is user-controlled
  • You may delete, reset, or export your local data at any time

Philosophi cannot access your local intelligence unless you explicitly authorize access for support or diagnostics.

  1. OPTIONAL USER-INITIATED DATA SHARING

You may voluntarily share limited data in specific circumstances:

  • Submitting crash logs or diagnostics
  • Contacting customer support
  • Participating in beta or feedback programs

Any such sharing is:
